Current Account Data Sheet

A current account is an account for day-to-day use. Two or more people can set up a current account together and call it a joint account.

Product Features
  • Customer can withdraw cash on demand.
  • Provides access to loans and overdrafts
  • SMS alert services are provided on all deposits and withdrawals
  • Minimum initial deposit of GH¢10
  • Commission on Turnover (COT) shall be charged to the account
  • A statement of account shall be made available on request to customers.
  • Unlimited withdrawals
  • Zero account balance allowed
  • Salaried workers shall be required to present introductory letter from their employers before the account can be opened
  • The customer shall be issued with a cheque book and cash pay-in books where applicable
  • A current account can be used for overdraft facility depending upon operations and eligibility.
